Ingredients For chicken supreme (tnt)

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 t. paprika
  • 3 large chicken breasts, skinned
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/4 cup light cream
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms (3 oz) ( i used fresh)
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 oz. swiss cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)

How To Make chicken supreme (tnt)

  • 1
    Mix 1/4 cup flour, paprika, 1 t. salt and dash pepper. Halve chicken breasts. Coat with flour mixture. Brown in butter. Add 2 T. water. Simmer, covered 25 to 30 minutes. Remove chicken to an 11 x 7" baking dish. Reserve drippings

    Mix 2 T. flour, 1/2 t. salt and cream. Stir into reserved drippings in skillet. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Drain mushrooms. Add mushrooms and lemon juice to sauce

    Pour over chicken. Cover. Chill up to 24 hours if desired. Bake, covered at 350 until hot through, about 50 to 60 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese, bake uncovered until cheese melts, about 1 to 2 minutes. Serves 6 Source: My Old Recipes
