  • 1 lb
    chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 8 oz
    mushrooms, fresh slices
  • 1/2 c
    low-fat sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    water or chicken stock
  • 1/8 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    freshly grated nutmeg

How to Make Chicken Stroganoff


  1. Cut chicken in small bite size pieces, Sprinkle poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, and nutmeg over chicken and place chicken pieces Mushroom slices and water in non stick skillet and saute over med. heat until cooked on all sides about 5 minutes.
  2. Let liquid cook down until reduced in half about 3-5 minutes. Then take off heat and add low fat sour cream. Serve over Brown Rice or noodles. Garnish with chives or parsley. Enjoy
