Ingredients

  • - chicken tenders
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup water or 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • - flour for battering
  • - salt, pepper, garlic salt
  • - favorite oil (i use either peanut or coconut oil with a little bit of canola oil mixed with it)
  • - tabasco or desired hot sauce, to your taste

How To Make chicken strips

  • Step 1
Lightly beat egg and add either water or buttermilk and several drops of hot sauce to it. I use about 2 Tablespoons as we like it spicy. It won't be hot after it's cooked, only the spicy hot sauce taste. Place in a zip bag, add chicken tenders and marinate in the refrigerator a couple of hours. When ready to cook, heat oil, add flour with seasonings to either a brown paper bag or a zip bag. Add chicken tenders and shake well. Remove tenders one at the time, shake off excess flour, add chicken to hot oil. Cook 3 - 4 minutes per side, browning well.
