  • FOR THE STIR FRY
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken thighs sliced
  • 1/2 bunch asparagus trimmed
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • FOR THE BLACK VINEGAR SAUCE
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup black vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon each fresh ginger grated and chopped garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot chili oil
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons mirin
  • rice for serving

How To Make chicken stir fry with black vinegar sauce

  • Step 1
    To make the sauce. Mix all ingredients together and set aside.
  • Step 2
    The stir fry Add oil to a wok or heavy pan. Add the chicken and brown it.
  • Step 3
    Add the asparagus and stir fry for 3 minutes. Add the snow peas and carrots stir fry 2 minutes. Add the sauce and cook 2 minutes
  • Step 4
    Serve over rice and garnish with green onions and cilantro
