Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 3 medium red potatoes
- 3 - carrots sliced
- 3 - celery stalks sliced
- 10 ounces pkg. frozen peas
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3-4 pounds chicken cubed
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 3/4 cups water
How To Make chicken stew

Step 1Place in a resealable plastic bag-flour, garlic, pepper, & mix. Add chicken to coat. Heat oil in a deep frying pan, brown chicken, then set chicken aside. In same pan add 1 1/4 cup water, soy sauce, oregano. Add chicken and vegetables. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 30-40 minutes. Remove meat and vegetables. Add remaining water and flour to make gravy.
