My great grandmother's recipe. This is a yummy winter dish!! Feel free to use chicken breasts but I think the combination of dark and white meat gives it great flavor!

Ingredients

  • 2 pints whole chicken
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 box spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion quartered
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

How To Make chicken spaghetti

  • Step 1
Boil whole chicken with cut up onion and celery salt. After boiling let cool.(I usually put mine in the fridge to cool faster.) Do not pour out broth.
  • Step 2
Drain about 1/2 c. of chicken broth. Debone chicken and put back in the chicken broth. Bring to boil.
  • Step 3
Add spaghetti and cook al dente. Add salt and pepper.
  • Step 4
Add cheddar cheese soup and both cans of cream of mushroom soup. Simmer for 30 min. Remove from burner and let stand to thicken.
