  • 2 c
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    fresh chopped garlic
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 bunch
    fresh parsley, chopped

How to Make Chicken Souvlaki

Step-by-Step

  1. Trim all fat and membranes from chicken. Slice each breast into 3 filets. Score the filets with a sharp knife, being careful not to cut the chicken all the way through.
  2. Mix the remaining ingredients to make the marinade. Marinate chicken filets overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Grill chicken and serve on warmed pita bread with sliced onions, fresh sliced tomatoes, feta cheese and Tsatziki sauce (recipe posted separately).
