Ingredients

  • 5 pounds chicken pieces
  • 12 mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 onions, cut into quarters
  • 2 green bell peppers, sliced in rings
  • 5 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 6 sage leaves, fresh
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • salt and freshly ground pepper

How To Make chicken saute

  • Step 1
    Saute the chicken in oil until golden.
  • Step 2
    Add mushrooms, garlic, onions, pepper, sage and rosemary.
  • Step 3
    Saute until veggies start to soften.
  • Step 4
    Add salt, pepper and wine.
  • Step 5
    Simmer on low heat about 25 minutes.
  • Step 6
    If wine and vegetable juices start to evaporate while cooking add chicken broth.
