Ingredients

  • 5 lb
    chicken pieces
  • 12
    mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 2
    onions, cut into quarters
  • 2
    green bell peppers, sliced in rings
  • 5
    garlic cloves, chopped
  • 6
    sage leaves, fresh
  • 2 Tbsp
    rosemary
  • 1/4 c
    dry white wine
  • ·
    salt and freshly ground pepper

How to Make Chicken Saute

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute the chicken in oil until golden.
  2. Add mushrooms, garlic, onions, pepper, sage and rosemary.
  3. Saute until veggies start to soften.
  4. Add salt, pepper and wine.
  5. Simmer on low heat about 25 minutes.
  6. If wine and vegetable juices start to evaporate while cooking add chicken broth.
