  • 2 c
    cooked chicken; chopped
  • 2 c
  • 1 can(s)
    (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    uncooked minute white rice
  • 1 can(s)
    (15 oz) cut green beans; drained
  • 1 can(s)
    (4 oz) mushroom stems and pieces
  • 1 c
    shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1 can(s)
    (2.8 oz) french fried onions

How to Make Chicken & Rice Casserole


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large saucepan add the milk and mushroom soup, heat on low heat, stir continously, turn off when starts to steam; remove from burner
  3. Add the chicken, rice, green beans, mushrooms, 1/2 cup of the cheese and 1/2 the can of french fried onions. Stir together and pour into casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and remaining 1/2 can of french fried onions on top.
  5. Bake uncovered 40 min.
