chicken & rice casserole
This has been a family favorite since I was a kid. My Mom always made this and I love it just as much now as I did then!

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken; chopped
- 2 cups milk
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup uncooked minute white rice
- 1 can (15 oz) cut green beans; drained
- 1 can (4 oz) mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1 can (2.8 oz) french fried onions
How To Make chicken & rice casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2In a large saucepan add the milk and mushroom soup, heat on low heat, stir continously, turn off when starts to steam; remove from burner

Step 3Add the chicken, rice, green beans, mushrooms, 1/2 cup of the cheese and 1/2 the can of french fried onions. Stir together and pour into casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.

Step 4Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and remaining 1/2 can of french fried onions on top.

Step 5Bake uncovered 40 min.
