My kids love this recipe. It savory with a little sweet at the same time.

Ingredients

  • 2 - boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1 package cream cheese, 8 ounces
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 tablespoons oil

How To Make chicken puffs

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Step 2
    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, slowly cook & stir oil, onions, green onions, and garlic.
  • Step 3
    Cube chicken breasts and add to saucepan.
  • Step 4
    Cook until onions are tender and chicken is lightly browned.
  • Step 5
    Blend chicken mixture, cream cheese and butter until creamy.
  • Step 6
    Unroll crescent rolls and place 1 or 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture on each crescent square. Fold crescent roll around mixture to make a pouch/ball.
  • Step 7
    Arrange balls on a large baking sheet and bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
