I was very ill and on life support in February 2012, when I came home many friends stopped by with meals for my family and I for weeks! And I especially loved this one recipe, but I tweeked it to make it my own.

Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken breasts diced into medium squares & cooked or 3 cans.
- 1 1/2 small bags frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 1/2 sticks butter melted
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 can chicken broth
- FIRST SET OF INGREDIENTS IS FOR THE PIE, SECOND SET INGREDIENTS FOR THE TOPPING
- 1 cup bisquick
- 1 stick butter melted
- 1 cup milk
How To Make chicken pot pie

Step 1Set oven to 400 degrees. Mix together: flour,1 1/2 stks melted butter, minced onion, chicken broth, and heavy cream until smooth.

Step 2Stir in cooked chicken and mixed vegetables, pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan and set aside.

Step 3Now mix together: bisquick, milk, and 1 stick melted butter.

Step 4Pour bisquick mixture over the top of the chicken mixture. (DO NOT STIR) Bake in oven 45 minutes, serve hot.
