I adopted this recipe because it looks so simple and delicious. :)

Ingredients

  • 4 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 package frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

How To Make chicken pot pie

  • Step 1
    Spray baking dish well with non stick cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Cut each chicken breast into several pieces.
  • Step 3
    Place on bottom of baking dish.
  • Step 4
    Mix soups and broth and pour over chicken.
  • Step 5
    Defrost frozen peas and carrots in microwave.
  • Step 6
    Scatter over top of chicken pieces.
  • Step 7
    Mix milk and melted butter.
  • Step 8
    Add a little bit of flour and baking powder at a time to the milk and butter. (Whisk smooth while adding.)
  • Step 9
    Pour over soup layer.
  • Step 10
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  • Step 11
    Crust will brown.
