My kids love this recipe so much that every time they come home from college, I need to make this. They tell all their friends about this recipe and make them try it when they come to the house. I have not had a bad remark about it yet

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 10 3/4 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 4 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 - sleeves of ritz crackers crushed
  • 4 - whole boneless chicken breasts cooked and cut into small pieces
  • 1 1/4 sticks melted butter

How To Make chicken poppyseed

  • Step 1
    Boil chicken for 30-40 minutes. Cut up into small pieces and place in bottom of square dish (approx 10X10)
  • Step 2
    Combine soup, sour cream and 2 tsp poppyseed. Place on top of chicken.
  • Step 3
    Mix together crushed crackers, melted butter and 2 tsp poppyseed. Place on top of soup mixture.
  • Step 4
    Bake 50 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve over white or brown rice. Enjoy!!
