Ingredients

2 lb
chicken breast filets
1 stick
butter
3
lemons
3 Tbsp
lemon zest, grated
2 Tbsp
capers
1 sprig(s)
parsley
salt & pepper to taste
1 c
flour
3 Tbsp
olive oil
2 c
white wine

How to Make Chicken Piccata

Step-by-Step

  • 1gently pound chicken fillets, lightly drench in flour
  • 2in a large skillet, melt 1/4 of the butter stick with some of the olive oil....brown chicken ( about 2 mins on each side)remember chicken should be thin... brown in small batches... keep adding butter & olive oil, as needed
  • 3after all chicken is browned on each side...place aside...to the butter,olive oil drippings.... add lemon zest, lemon juice, capers parsley & white wine....scrape bottom of pan...(that's where all the flavor is)...place browned chicken fillets back and simmer for like 20 mins... so all the flavors marry
