    chicken breast filets
  • 1 stick
  • 3
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon zest, grated
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 sprig(s)
  • ·
    salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 c
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 c
    white wine

How to Make Chicken Piccata


  1. gently pound chicken fillets, lightly drench in flour
  2. in a large skillet, melt 1/4 of the butter stick with some of the olive oil....brown chicken ( about 2 mins on each side)remember chicken should be thin... brown in small batches... keep adding butter & olive oil, as needed
  3. after all chicken is browned on each the butter,olive oil drippings.... add lemon zest, lemon juice, capers parsley & white wine....scrape bottom of pan...(that's where all the flavor is) browned chicken fillets back and simmer for like 20 mins... so all the flavors marry
