Ingredients

  • 4
    boneless breasts
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 large
    shallot
  • 1/2
    cup white wine
  • 1/3
    fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    capers
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped parsley

How to Make chicken piccata

Step-by-Step

  1. sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. place flour in a shallow plate. coat on both sides. set aside
  2. melt butter in non stick skilletmed heat. add chicken to pan cook 5 minutes per side. remove chicken to platter cover and keep warm.
  3. add shallots to pan cook for 1 minute add wine, lemon, and capers, bring to simmer.
  4. return chicken to pan, spoon sauce on top. reduce heat to medium. cover and cook 5 minutes or until cooked through. add parsley before serving.
