Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups multigrain pasta (i typically like to use bowtie pasta)
- 1 package spinach (9oz)
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced into pieces
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves (or more)
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzella
- 2 tablespoons parmesan
How To Make chicken penne pasta bake

Step 1Heat oven to 375. Cook pasta adding spinach at the last one minute of cooking.

Step 2Cook chicken and basil in large skillet. Add spaghetti sauce, and tomatoes; bring to a boil. Simmer 3 minutes and stir in cream cheese until melted.

Step 3Drain pasta, return to pan. Stir in chicken mixture and 1/2 cup mozzarella. Pour into 2 qt. casserole. Bake for 20 minutes and sprinkle with remaining cheese until melted.
