Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken, boned and skinless cut in very thin strips
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 cup carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup celery stalks, sliced
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained
- 1 package chinese pea pods
- SAUCE INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
How To Make chicken & pea pods

Step 1Mix chicken, cornstarch, soy sauce and sherry.

Step 2In skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over high heat.

Step 3Stir in garlic and ginger.

Step 4Add chicken and stir fry until no longer pink.

Step 5Remove.

Step 6In remaining oil, stir fry carrots and celery 1 minute.

Step 7Add green onions and stir fry 30 seconds.

Step 8Add water chestnuts and pea pods.

Step 9Stir sauce and add to vegetables.

Step 10Cook, stirring until boiling.

Step 11Return chicken to pan and heat through.

Step 12Sauce: Mix ingredients over medium heat in small saucepan.

Step 13Pour over chicken.
