This recipe came from an old church cookbook back in the 1960s. I have used it a lot since that time and it is a good one for a potluck, picnic, etc. since you can make it ahead. It is good cold or hot.

    chicken broiler/fryer cut up
  • 1 c
  • 2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 2
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 2/3 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 c
    bread crumbs

How to Make Chicken Parmesan


  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt, paprika and pepper.
  2. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs and milk.
  3. In a third bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs.
  4. Coat chicken pieces with flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, then roll in crumb mixture.
  5. Place chicken pieces in a well greased 15x10x1" baking pan.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.
