chicken breast or 8 cutlets
1 1/2 c
panko bread crumbs
1/2 c
parmesan cheese
splash of milk
1 c
frying oil
fresh basil
marinara sauce
mozzarella cheese
garlic and onion powder
salt pepper

How to Make Chicken Parmesan


  • 1Cut chicken into cutlets. You can pound them if you like them thinner.
  • 2In 3 different plates or bowls combine 2 eggs and a splash of milk in one. Panko bread crumbs, parmesan, garlic and onion powder and Italian seasoning in the second and flour in the third. Season all with a dash and salt and pepper.
  • 3Dip chicken in flour, egg mixture and panko in that order set on a plate.
  • 4Heat oil and fry the chicken.
  • 5Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of Pyrex dish. Put in chicken cover with a little marinara and parmesan. Cover with foil and bake on 350 for 30 min.
  • 6When chicken is done baking put mozzarella on chicken and bake until cheese melts
  • 7Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve with pasta.
