This one cracked me up, because this was the only one in Ma's recipe files that we found in NC in July 2019 that had calorie information.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 pounds split chicken breasts (or 2 lb cut up fryer parts)
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 4 tablespoons chopped green pepper
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned)
- SAUCE
- 1 cup orange juice
- 3 tablespoons sherry
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (or sugar substitute)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
- GARNISH
- paprika
- orange slices, optional
How To Make chicken parisien, ma

Step 1Place chicken pieces skin side up in shallow baking dish. Add onions, pepper and mushrooms. Combine sauce ingredients in shallow saucepan. Cook and stir over moderate heat until mixture thickens and bubbles. Pour over chicken. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for one hour or more, basting occasionally, until tender. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with fresh orange slices if you wish.
