This is a recipe that my Mom use to make in her old pressure cooker. I have tweaked the recipe for the electric pressure which is much easier!

prep time 35 Min
cook time 15 Min
method ---
yield 6 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds bonless chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth or bouillon cubes
  • 24 ounces sour cream
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt & pepper

How To Make chicken paprika

  • Step 1
Cut chicken into bite size pieces, put chicken into a bag of flour and generously coat. Brown chicken and drain on paper towels.
  • Step 2
Add one cup of chicken broth Add browned chicken Salt & pepper the chicken Add one large container (24 ounces) of sour cream Sprinkle paprika on top of sour cream (don't stir)
  • Step 3
Close lid, set time for 15 minutes. When done, release pressure manually after 4 to 5 minutes. Let stand at least 5 minutes before serving. This gives it time to thicken up. Serve over noodles with veggies on the side! DELICIOUS! Susan T Newmeyer
