And who doesn't love a decadent chicken gravy over biscuits, topped with some delicious, tender turkey or chicken meat? This is a great solution for leftover chicken or turkey meat. How to Make BONNIE'S CHICKEN OR TURKEY ALA KING OVER BISCUITS

Step-by-Step

  1. Place prepared biscuits in the oven while you make the chicken mixture, or you can make your own from scratch.
  2. Make a roux. Melt equal parts of 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium high heat, add 2 tablespoons of flour, a cup of broth stir until thickened.
Add chicken, heat through and turn heat to low and add the pimientos, mushrooms, parsley, marjoram and onion powder. Add the cream, can of soup and parmesan cheese. Stir gently, heat but don't boil. Add salt and pepper. Add the sherry, stir gently to combine. Split the biscuits and spoon mixture over them and serve. Enjoy!
  3. Cooks tip: You can add other ingredients to this, sometimes I add frozen peas I have steamed in a steamer bag. This can also be made in the microwave.
