This casserole is a real kid pleaser. A great comfort meal. My family and friends love this casserole. You can add other veggies if you so desire. My photo's

Ingredients

  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 - boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked and shredded or cubed
  • 1 - 16 ounces sour cream
  • 1 - 10 3/4 ounces can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 - 10 3/4 ounces can cream of celery soup
  • 1 - 10 3/4 ounces can cream of chicken soup
  • 10 ounces thin egg noodles.
  • 1 - sleeve, ritz crackers, crushed
  • 3 cups shredded, cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

How To Make chicken noodle casserole - cassie's

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In medium skillet, fry onion and celery in butter until softened.
  • Step 2
    Pour into 9x13 baking dish.
  • Step 3
    In large bowl, combine chicken chunks, sour cream, poultry seasoning and soup. Stir in 2 cups of shredded cheddar. Stir in uncooked egg noodles. Pour mixture over onions in baking dish.
  • Step 4
    Top with crumbled crackers and remaining cheddar.
  • Step 5
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until top is golden and noodles are soft.
