Easy to make delicious comfort food. Reheats well, if there are any leftovers. Serve with a salad and garlic bread.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 cups cooked chicken, cut up
  • 1/2 pound noodles, cooked
  • 2 - large onions, chopped
  • 2 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs or corn flake crumbs
  • 1 can chopped mushrooms (optional)

How To Make chicken noodle casserole

  • Step 1
    Mix onions with noodles. Add chicken and seasonings and mushrooms.
  • Step 2
    Add soups and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Put mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs or corn flake crumbs over top.
  • Step 5
    Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover 10 minutes before done and let brown.
