I usually serve scalloped potatoes and broccoli and double the cream of chicken and milk. We spoon the soup mix over the dumpling. YUM!!

Ingredients
- 1 cup bisquick
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 11/2 cups milk
- 1 - chicken/cut up
How To Make chicken 'n dumplings

Step 1Mix bisquick,paprika,salt and pepper in a bag. Shake chicken. Melt shortning and butter in deep skillet and brown chiken parts quickly. Remove from skillet and drain grease. Place chicken back in skillet and mix soup and milk and pour over chicken. Cover and simmer for 1 hr. 20 mins. before chicken is done prepare dumplings as directed on bisquick box adding 1/2 teas. parsley and 1/4 teas. poultry seasing. Drop by spoonfuls onto chicken and cook uncovered 10 mins. then covered 10 mins. longer.
