Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon parsley, fresh minced
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 8 - chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
- 5/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
How To Make chicken mozzarella

Step 1Combine breadcrumbs and wheat germ, set mixture aside.

Step 2Trim excess fat from chicken.

Step 3Place chicken between 2 sheets waxed paper and flatten to 1/4 inch thickness, using a rolling pin or meat mallet.

Step 4Dip chicken in milk, dredge in bread crumb mixture.

Step 5Coat a large skillet with cooking spray.

Step 6Add oil and place over medium hot heat until hot.

Step 7Add chicken to skillet and cook until browned on both sides.

Step 8Drain on paper towels.

Step 9Pour one third of tomato sauce in bottom of a 13 X 9 X 2 inches casserole dish.

Step 10Baking dish coated with cooking spray.

Step 11Place chicken breasts in dish.

Step 12Pour half of remaining tomato sauce over chicken; sprinkle with parsley, basil, oregano, pepper, garlic and cheese.

Step 13Top with remaining tomato sauce.

Step 14Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
