A spicy, Portuguese dish. Traditionally served with rice & fries. I recently posted the version made with shrimp as well!

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces chicken
  • 1 - medium onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 - sazon goya (con azafran)
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 4 ounces hot sauce
  • 1/2 - lemon

How To Make chicken mozambique

  • Step 1
    In a medium-sized pan, sauté chicken in two tablespoons of butter until cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside. Sauté onions and garlic with remaining two tablespoons of butter. Deglaze the pan with the beer, and return the chicken to the pan. Add hot sauce and simmer for two to three minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients, and simmer an additional minute.
