chicken cutlets

1/2 c
parmesan cheese
1/2 c
sun dried tomatoes, diced
1/2 c
basil, fresh chopped
1 c
baby portebello mushrooms, sliced
6 slice
mozzarella cheese
6 slice
black forest ham
1/2 stick
2 Tbsp
olive oil
salt/pepper to taste

How to Make Chicken Milano with a twist


  • 1in a shallow dish, combine flour & parmesan cheese,lightly coat each chicken cutlet
  • 2in a skillet, put 1 tablespoon of butter (and a drizzle of olive oil)this will prevent the butter from burning..cook the chicken cutlets about 2-3 mins on each side (till golden brown) do in batches, set aside
  • 3meanwhile,clean and slice the portabello mushrooms,in the same pan, after you finish with all the chicken saute the mushrooms, about 2 mins
  • 4time to each chicken cutlet on a oven friendly each one equally with the sun-dried tomatoes,basil, mushrooms then top each with a slice of black forest ham and mozzarella...melt in oven, I served it with orzo pasta w/parmesan cheese mmmmm
