chicken marsala (original recipe)
This is a good recipe, but I now tend to use the recipe for Pork Marsala, and simply substitute chicken... you use marsala rather than white wine, and it is so much easier than using cornstarch to thicken the sauce!

Ingredients
- 6 - chicken fillets, flattened
- 8 ounces mushrooms
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 clove garlic
- - olive oil and butter
How To Make chicken marsala (original recipe)

Step 1Saute mushrooms in olive oil and butter. Add crushed garlic. Remove and set aside. Flour chicken, salt and pepper. Brown about 3 min on each side. Keep in skillet and add mushrooms. Add broth, wine, and a dash of lemon juice. Add more broth if needed. Cover and simmer 15 min. mix in a little cornstarch to make a glaze.
