I took this little waif & stray under my arm as it didn't belong to anyone. Awwww. The ingredients tell me this is going to be a great marinade. The prep will take about 5 - 10 minutes to do & the chicken will need at least 4 hours in the marinade, or better still, leave overnight. I'm looking forward to trying this one.

Grill

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp
    ginger, finely sliced
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • ·
    green onion with top, chopped
  • 4
    chicken breasts

How to Make Chicken Marinade

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine marinade ingredients.
  2. Place in glass bowl or dish that will hold chicken in single layer.
  3. Add chicken; let marinate a minimum of 4 hours, turning occasionally.
  4. May be left in fridge, covered overnight.
  5. Remove chicken from marinade.
  6. Grill chicken on barbecue, basting with marinade at intervals, or bake 30 to 45 minutes in 350 degree oven or until cooked through.
