I took this little waif & stray under my arm as it didn't belong to anyone. Awwww. The ingredients tell me this is going to be a great marinade. The prep will take about 5 - 10 minutes to do & the chicken will need at least 4 hours in the marinade, or better still, leave overnight. I'm looking forward to trying this one.

Ingredients

1 tsp
ginger, finely sliced

garlic cloves, minced
1/4 c
lemon juice
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1/4 c
olive oil
1/4 c
soy sauce
green onion with top, chopped

chicken breasts

How to Make Chicken Marinade

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine marinade ingredients.
  • 2Place in glass bowl or dish that will hold chicken in single layer.
  • 3Add chicken; let marinate a minimum of 4 hours, turning occasionally.
  • 4May be left in fridge, covered overnight.
  • 5Remove chicken from marinade.
  • 6Grill chicken on barbecue, basting with marinade at intervals, or bake 30 to 45 minutes in 350 degree oven or until cooked through.
