Ingredients

  • 1 large
    cut up chicken
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp
    marjoram, dried
  • 1 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 pkg
    fresh mushrooms
  • 2
    whole tomatoe, diced
  • ·
    chopped parsley

How to Make CHICKEN MARENGO

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown chicken slowly in hot oil. Add onion, garlic & marjoram; cook until onion is soft. Season with salt & pepper Add wine or broth, add mushrooms. Cover and cook over low heat for 35 minutes. Skim off any fat, Cut tomatoes and add to chicken dish. Continue cooking for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
