Ingredients

  • 10
    chicken pieces
  • 1/2 c
    white wine, dry
  • 1/2 c
    chicken stock, no salt
  • 1/2 c
    pitted prunes
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    green olives
  • 5 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/4 c
    capers, drained
  • ·
    sea salt & fresh ground pepper

How to Make Chicken Marbella

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients except brown sugar and white wine, and marinate overnight.
  2. Arrange chicken in pan, spoon marinade over, and sprinkle with brown sugar and wine.
  3. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees, basting often.
