Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 - celery stalk, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 large can chunk chicken (or one large chicken breast, cooked and cut in small pieces)
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make chicken & macaroni

Step 1Prepare macaroni as directed; drain & keep warm. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add green pepper and celery. Cook until tender, about 20-25 minutes.

Step 2Stir in flour, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually stir in milk; cook, stirring constantly until sauce is slightly thickened.

Step 3Stir in chicken and cheese just until cheese is melted. Remove from heat. Stir in the macaroni and serve.
