low-fat bacon, cooked and crumbled

chicken, cooked and cubed
1/2 c
onion, chopped and cooked
1/2 c
bell peppers, chopped and cooked
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, fat-free
1 c
fat-free sour cream
1.5 c
frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
5/8 tsp
garlic powder
1.5 c
fat-free cheddar cheese or lowfat shredded

How to Make Chicken Mac Casserole


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2Prepare a 8 x 12" pan with cooking spray; set aside.
  • 3Return hot macaroni to saucepan.
  • 4Stir in bacon, chicken, onions and bell peppers.
  • 5In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, mixed vegetables, garlic powder and 1 cup cheddar cheese.
  • 6Spoon half the macaroni mixture into prepared pan.
  • 7Cover with half vegetable mixture.
  • 8Repeat layers.
  • 9Bake, covered, for 30 minutes or until heated through.
  • 10Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  • 11Bake, uncovered, 3 minutes more.
