This is a recipe from a friend that I tried for dinner tonight. My hubby said that something was missing though.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 - boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package chicken bouillion
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 6 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  • 2/3 cup fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 2/3 cup fresh snow peas (i also used a stir fry blend veggie bag)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil

How To Make chicken lo mein

  • Step 1
    Combine cornstarch, ginger, and soy sauce in small bowl. Cut chicken into strips and add to soy sauce. Set aside. Cook spaghetti.
  • Step 2
    In a large skillet, saute mushrooms and peas in 1 TBSP oil for about 4 mins.veggies should be slightly crisp. Remove to separate bowl and set aside. In same pan fry chicken mixture till chicken is cooked. Dissolve bouillion in hot water, add to chicken mixture. Cook and stir 1-2 mins. or till thickened. Add mushrooms and peas. Drain spaghetti, add to skillet along with sesame oil. Cook for 1-2 mins. longer, stirring often, till hot through. Enjoy!
