chicken lazone
I found this recipe on the internet and had in my huge pile of recipe paperwork. I decided to try this and the recipe was amazing...so different for a chicken dish. My husband really liked this so it is going in my special cookbook. This recipe is not for a diet..the cream makes it rich and tasty and I do not know how it will taste with substitutes.

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 tablespoons butter - divided

- 2 teaspoons parsley
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon adobo powder
How To Make chicken lazone
-
Step 1I looked up on the internet and found a recipe for Adobo seasoning..so I made my own. 2 tb salt....1 tb paprika...1 tb blk pepper...1 1/2 tsp onion powder...1 1/2 tsp oregano ...1 1/2 tsp cumin...1 tsp garlic powder... 1 tsp. chili powder.. mix all these spices and put into a airtight container and use as needed.
-
Step 2In a large bowl, take your chicken and cut into bite size pieces and toss in bowl with the chicken seasoning and set aside.
-
Step 3In a large fry pan, on Medium heat, melt only half of the butter and add the olive oil, beef broth (I made my own out of beef bullion) and the seasoned chicken and slightly brown..the seasoning will burn so turn as needed. Fry until fully cooked and done. I left the minced garlic out until the end and added last when the chicken was almost done.
-
Step 4Pour the cream and remaining butter into pan and reduce heat to simmer, Mix a little water or cream into the cornstarch and add to chicken/cream and simmer until thickened
-
Step 5In a large pot of salted water, boil spaghetti noodles until Al dente and drain well. (I toss with a little butter so it will not stick)
-
Step 6To serve you can mix the spaghetti and chicken/sauce together or serve chicken/sauce over spaghetti.
