My son actually came up with this one...he loves chicken and he loves lasagna...so why not combine the two....absolutely delicious

Ingredients

  • 2 - chicken breasts
  • 1 box lasagna
  • 2 large cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • - salt/pepper
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How To Make chicken lasagna alec

  • Step 1
    Boil the chicken breasts about 20 mins...till cooked through...set aside to cool...then shred
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl of hot water...place the lasagna, just to make pliable...about 5 mins.
  • Step 3
    in a sauce pan combine the crushed tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, olive oil, sugar, salt, pepper....simmer about 10 mins.
  • Step 4
    add the shredded chicken to the sauce.
  • Step 5
    mix the ricotta cheese and eggs(combine well)
  • Step 6
    in a lasagna pan..( I use disposable ones)start building the lasagna....layer of "chicken sauce"...lasagna, ricotta mixture, sprinkle parmesan cheese and layer of mozzarella...repeat twice...finish with sauce then mozzarella...bake at 350 degrees 30 mins...let cool before cutting and serving....DELIGHTFUL
