This is my "Picky" daughter Sarah's favorite meal. I usually serve over rice with purple hull peas and a fruit salad!!

Ingredients

  • 4 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • to taste - garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup all purpose flour

How To Make chicken julia

  • Step 1
    Pre heat oven to 450. Wash and dry chicken breasts, sprinkle with garlic powder to taste. Melt butter in skillet. Then dredge lightly in flour. Shake off, then brown slowly in butter. When lightly brown place in baking dish and cover with foil. Bake 40 minutes then add heavy cream (may not need all of it). After 20 minutes remove foil and add more cream if nessesary. Bake for 10-15 more minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
