This is what I make when I wanted my stepsons help their dad with a project. All I had to say was that their dad needed some help and I was making Jambalaya. They came a running.

Ingredients

3 Tbsp
butter, melted

small clove garlic, minced
1 medium
green pepper, cleaned and quartered
1 small
onion, quartered
1 box
pre cooked sausages, partially defrosted
3 c
cooked chicken
2 c
water
1
bay leaf
1 tsp
salt
2 c
uncooked rice
1 can(s)
(16oz) whole tomatoes

How to Make Chicken Jambalya

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mince garlic in food processor. Add Green pepper. Process 5 minutes. Add to melted butter in pot.
  • 2Slice onion and sausage in food processor. Add to pot and saute.
  • 3Chop tomatoes, add to pot. Add chicken, water and seasonings. Bring to boil
  • 4Stir in rice and cook until rice is tender. Stand 10 minutes and remove bay leaf.
