This is what I make when I wanted my stepsons help their dad with a project. All I had to say was that their dad needed some help and I was making Jambalaya. They came a running.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 - small clove garlic, minced
- 1 medium green pepper, cleaned and quartered
- 1 small onion, quartered
- 1 box pre cooked sausages, partially defrosted
- 3 cups cooked chicken
- 2 cups water
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 1 can (16oz) whole tomatoes
How To Make chicken jambalya

Step 1Mince garlic in food processor. Add Green pepper. Process 5 minutes. Add to melted butter in pot.

Step 2Slice onion and sausage in food processor. Add to pot and saute.

Step 3Chop tomatoes, add to pot. Add chicken, water and seasonings. Bring to boil

Step 4Stir in rice and cook until rice is tender. Stand 10 minutes and remove bay leaf.
