Ingredients
- 3 - whole frying chicken, cut up
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning or oregano
- 1 jar sliced pimientos
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1/2 cup sherry
- 1 pound sliced mushrooms
How To Make chicken italian, mom

Step 1Brown chicken in butter, sprinkle with all ingredients except mushrooms, and cover with tomato juice mixed with sherry. Cover pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Turn chicken occasionally. Add mushrooms and more juice mixed with sherry if you desire more sauce. Serve with cooked green noodles. Can be baked the day before and reheated for 45 min before serving.
