Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 pound chicken pieces with skin and bones removed
- 1/2 - onion, chopped
- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1 pound tomatillos, fresh
- 3 - green chiles, roasted and chopped
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, fresh and chopped
How To Make chicken in salsa verde

Step 1Spray a non-stick skillet with vegetable cooking spray.

Step 2Heat oil and saute chicken then add onion and garlic, stirring until limp.

Step 3Add remaining ingredients.

Step 4Reduce heat, cover, and simmer about 15 minutes.

Step 5NOTE: May substitute 12 ounces of canned tomatillos if you don\'t have fresh.
