Ingredients
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 - chicken breasts , diced 1 inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon herbes de provence
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 - lemon, zest grated
- pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup oregano, fresh, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
How To Make chicken in lemon cream with penne

Step 11. Boil pasta for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain. 2.Season chicken breasts with herbes de provence and a pinch of salt and pepper. 3.Cook in olive oil until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Set chicken aside. pour off excess oil from pan.

Step 24.In same pan add broth and cook over medium high heat, scrapping browned bits from bottom of pan. 5. Add cream, lemon zest and cayenne. Reduce heat to med-low and simmer 10 minutes.

Step 36. Add pasta, remaining salt and pepper, oregano and lemon juice. Toss to coat chicken with sauce and serve.
