1 lb
penne pasta
3 Tbsp
olive oil
chicken breasts , diced 1 inch cubes
1 tsp
herbes de provence
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1 c
chicken broth
2 c
heavy cream
lemon, zest grated
cayenne pepper
1/4 c
oregano, fresh, chopped
1 Tbsp
lemon juice, fresh

How to Make Chicken in Lemon Cream with Penne


  • 11. Boil pasta for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain.
    2.Season chicken breasts with herbes de provence and a pinch of salt and pepper.
    3.Cook in olive oil until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Set chicken aside. pour off excess oil from pan.
  • 24.In same pan add broth and cook over medium high heat, scrapping browned bits from bottom of pan.
    5. Add cream, lemon zest and cayenne.
    Reduce heat to med-low and simmer 10 minutes.
  • 36. Add pasta, remaining salt and pepper, oregano and lemon juice. Toss to coat chicken with sauce and serve.
