Ingredients
- MARINADE
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon shaoxing wine
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- CHICKEN
- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs cubed
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 4 scallions chopped white and green parts separated
- 1 tablespoon shaoxing wine
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/2 cup cashews
How To Make chicken in hoisin sauce with cashews

Step 1Mix the ingredients for the marinade together. Add the chicken and let marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 2Add oil to a large Wok or skillet. Add the garlic and white parts of the scallions. Saute 1 minute. Add the chicken and cook until no longer pink. Add the wine and let most evaporate.

Step 3Add the hoisin sauce and green parts of the scallions cook 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cashews.

Step 4Serve over rice or noodles
