- 2-3 pounds chicken, broiler-fryer
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups stuffing
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup boullion
- 4 - potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 pound peas
- 6 - carrots, sliced
How To Make chicken in casserole

Step 1Heat oven to 375.

Step 2Wash and dry chicken.

Step 3Sprinkle cavity with 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.

Step 4Stuff with stuffing.

Step 5Tie legs together.

Step 6Brown on all sides in butter in deep baking pan.

Step 7Add bouillon and potatoes.

Step 8Bake, covered 30 minutes.

Step 9Add peas and carrots and remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Step 10Cover and bake 30 minutes longer.
