How To Make chicken in beer sauce
-
Step 1Score the chicken in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through. Season with the salt, pepper, paprika and thyme. Rub on the chicken with a little olive oil.
-
Step 2Place the olive oil and butter in a sauce pan. Brown the chicken on both sides and remove to a plate. Add the red onion and garlic and saute for 5 minutes. Add the beer, honey, soy and mustard and mix well. Bring to a boil and let reduce 5 minutes.
-
Step 3Add the chicken back in and cover and cook about 5 to 7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Serve topped with the sauce.
