I started making this recipe differently because I am not big into adding butter to the very yummy cream cheese and chives. I have also used more bacon in the past, and it hasn't gotten as crispy in the broiler. This is such a great tasting and juicy recipe that it will become a staple in your house too!

  • 8
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 8 oz
    package cream cheese and chives
  • 8
    strips of bacon
  • ·
    butter (i omit now)
  • ·
    salt and pepper (i omit now)

How to Make Chicken in Bacon


  1. Clean and pound out chicken breasts on a piece of waxed paper. Salt and pepper lightly, then pat with butter. Cover with cream cheese and chives. Roll into ovals and wrap with a piece of bacon, held by two toothpicks. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min or until juice is clear when chicken is forked. Then broil so that bacon is evenly cooked.
