Ingredients For chicken in amber ale sauce

4bone in skin on chicken thighs

1 smonion, diced

4 clovegarlic, minced

1 cchicken broth

1 Tbspbrown sugar

1/2 camber ale

2 tspfresh thyme

1bay leaf

3 Tbspcold butter

1 tspcider vinegar

How To Make chicken in amber ale sauce

1Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Add oil to a large pan and add the chicken, and cook for 20 minutes. Turning often.

2Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. Add the onion and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.

3Add the chicken stock, brown sugar, and ale. Bring to a boil. Add the thyme and bay leaf. Cook until reduced by half.

4Whisk in the butter one tablespoon at a time. Stir in the vinegar.

5Add the chicken back and remove the bay leaf. Cook five more minutes. Serve the chicken with the sauce.
