Ingredients
- 1 large green bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 - minced garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 can pineapple tidbits with juice
- 2 cups chicken, cooked and cubed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cups hot cooked rice
- 1/3 cup toasted almond slivers
How To Make chicken hawaiian

Step 1In large frying pan, cook green pepper with garlic in oil until tender.

Step 2Blend in soup and pineapple juice from can.

Step 3Add chicken, pineapple bits and soy sauce.

Step 4Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5Serve over rice and top with toasted slivered almonds.

Step 6To toast almonds, put them in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes with a tablespoon of butter, strring and watching to see that they do not get too brown.
