This recipe was created and handed down to me by my Mother-in-law, Mary Ward. Chicken Goop is what my husband called it as a young child. Mary just calls it Crock Pot Chicken. Either way you call it, it's still good!

Ingredients
- 8-12 - boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
- 8 ounces canned mushroom stems & pieces, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 jar chicken gravy
- - pam cooking oil spray
- - oregano, to taste
- - garlic powder, to taste
- 1/2 cup water
- - lawry's seasoning salt, to taste
How To Make chicken goop

Step 1Lightly spray pan with Pam. Sprinkle chicken with seasoning salt. Brown chicken pieces quickly over medium-high heat. Drain on paper towel. In Crockpot, layer pieces of chicken until bottom is covered without overcrowding. Cover with some of mushrooms, onion rings, a generous pinch of oregano, and a light sprinkle of garlic powder. Continue layering of chicken, mushrooms, and onions. Mix soup, gravy, and half cup water. Pour over layers. Cook on low 5-6 hours.
