Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 4 chicken cutlets
- 12 ounces skillet gnocchi
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cups baby spinach
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
How To Make chicken gnocchi skillet

Step 1Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Using a spider skimmer or slotted spoon, remove to a paper towel to drain.

Step 2Cook the chicken in the bacon grease in the same skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken to a plate. Brown the gnocchi in the same skillet, then transfer it to the plate.

Step 3Brown the mushrooms in the skillet over medium heat. If needed, add a little olive oil. When the mushrooms are about halfway brown, add the shallots and continue cooking until the mushrooms are brown and the shallots are tender.

Step 4Reduce the heat to low. Add the garlic, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute while stirring.

Step 5Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the spinach and bacon to the skillet and cook until the spinach wilts. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and simmer gently until it melts.

Step 6Add the chicken and gnocchi back to the skillet and warm. Season with more salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
